Basic Rules of the Horizon Line

Taking the Rectangle Box above the Horizon Line…

Now you are going to take the Rectangle Box above the Horizon Line yourself, well, with a little help from me.

As I have said before I do not want this to be ‘Teacher does the work, student does nothing’. I want you to show dedication towards learning perspective by being involve with the drawings, it’s the best way to learn. I am always here if you need my help…

Look at image 8 and you will see I have drawn the Vanishing Lines for you in RED and the measuring lines in GREEN to help you on the way to produce your perspective drawing, the Rectangle Box.

Image 9 shows the finished drawing with the sizes to help you. Remember to use your Measuring Points, very important that you do. You are still using 60º – 30º views for image 9, please keep to those angles for now, as this will make instructions easier to decipher.
